General Laborer/ Flood Technician to join our Squamish team

At this time, we will only be interviewing those candidates with the existing legal authority to work in Canada. Additionally, to be eligible for this role, you must live around Squamish area.

Pay Rate:
$24 -$30/ hour (based on the experience)

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for stabilizing, cleaning and placing drying equipment for restoration
Provide communication and photos to Managers and their teams regarding status of work
Determine category of water loss and extract water
Assist in determination on non-restorable building components
Assist in demolition and set up drying equipment
Clean and sanitize using bio wash procedures
May be required to manipulate, block, or move contents
Monitors drying process and adjusts/removes equipment as required

Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Clean criminal record as it relates to work
Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driver abstract
Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full-sized panel van is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work alone or with minimum supervision
Ability to lift industrial fans lbs
Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers
Knowledge of basic construction fundamentals, hand tools and power tools
Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning, or carpet installation is considered beneficial
