About the Job:

If you're looking for a role where you can oversee credit risk, modeling, and analytics, this VP position is for you. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit and account management strategies, as well as enhancing risk management processes to drive revenue growth and minimize losses. As the VP, you will work closely with senior management, product, and operations teams, providing valuable insights and analytics to support decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the credit risk modeling, analytics, and reporting team, aligning objectives with company goals.
  • Prepare risk reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Maintain loss reporting and support financial reporting under IFRS9.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Present actionable insights to senior management based on analytic findings.
  • Mentor and lead a team, promoting continuous learning.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in credit risk management with a focus on modeling and analytics.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with senior management.
