About the RoleThe Assistant Supervisor provides assistance in attaining efficient operation of the distribution department as assigned. This includes assisting in the supervision and assignment of resources to optimize the operation, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, LDB internal policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the supervision and assignment of resources to optimize the operation
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, LDB internal policies and procedures
- Knowledge of all warehouse duties and functions
- Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Recent supervisor experience assigning, monitoring and examining work of employees
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel applications
- Post-secondary education in Operations Management or a related field
- Recent experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
