Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team at Drake International Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Processing Goods: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition, and process paperwork accordingly.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Shipping and Delivery: Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading goods onto trucks.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with experience in inventory management and shipping/receiving.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Monday to Friday Schedule: 10 AM to 6 PM.
