We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the University Health Network in Ajax. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in empowering clients to reach their full potential and return to work after injury or illness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on treatment and rehabilitation services to clients with work-related injuries and illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote client recovery and return to work
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Minimum 2 years of experience in treating clients with work-related injuries and illnesses
- Strong knowledge of FAE and Return to Work planning principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
