Skip is seeking a pivotal member of our rapidly expanding Marketing Technology team, you'll spearhead diverse projects vital to our business growth. Your focus will revolve around consolidating data sources across stakeholders and pillars, harnessing personalized creativity, executing an omnichannel approach, and seamlessly linking data across platforms to elevate our OKRs. Your ultimate thrill lies in leveraging cutting-edge technology and data, while maintaining a comprehensive marketing technology stack, to craft an unparalleled experience for millions of Canadians. Your efforts will play a substantial role in propelling Skip's growth strategy forward.
What's On Your Plate:
- Develop strategies for data flow and integrations across various platforms
- Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams to ensure clarity and alignment across internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to optimize data models and reporting tools
- Lead the integrations of various marketing tools and platforms, leading projects and teams from inception to completion. Ensuring timely delivery and alignment to objectives
- Ensure seamless data exchange between internal systems and external marketing tools
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and vendors
- Implement best practices for security, versioning and management of all our tools, integrations and data
- Maintain and optimize the existing marketing technology stack, ensuring all tools are effective and utilized to their full potential
- Develop and execute MarTech strategies that align with business goals and enhance experience
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology and recommend improvements
Recipe for Success:
- Post Secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field and/or experience
- Post-Graduate degree in Marketing, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Advanced degrees or certifications are highly desirable
- Over 10+ years of proven experience within MarTech, with 5+ leading a team within this space
- Profound knowledge of the latest technologies, solutions and tools
- Experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive marketing technology stacks
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to enhance experience through technology
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, cross-functional teams and projects, fostering collaboration, innovation and data-informed decision making and culture
- Ambitious, and knows how to work well alongside other high-performers while being eager to support teammates
- Receptive to coaching and strives for constant self-improvement
- Able to understand and communicate data, insights and trends, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing the decision-making process
- Highly organized; excels at planning and prioritizing tasks
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Braze, SQL, HTML, AMPScript, Google Suite, Google Analytics & Tableau. Plus other relevant marketing platforms, together with the corresponding certifications
- Have a great attitude and a proven self-starter
- Thrive in a rapidly changing environment with high levels of ambiguity
- Agile and adaptive mindset, with the resilience to navigate the rapidly evolving landscapes of digital marketing and data analytics
