April 17, :30 Rate of Pay: Salary and benefits as per terms and conditions of employment Job Description Reporting to the Director of Care, the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and service is provided on the Nursing Unit.

As an experienced practitioner, the RCC acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, co-ordination of resident care and support and teaching to the care team (including residents and families) within a collaborative environment.

The incumbent must use critical thinking skills, be able to multitask, and be physically able to respond quickly to emergent situations, as he/she is the immediate supervisor on the unit.

The routine procedures are generally pre-determined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position.

Pay Grade:

Nurse B Requirements: � Graduate of an approved School of Nursing � Active and Good Standing with SRNA/RPNAS Qualifications: � Experience in Long Term Care � 3 years experience in management/supervisory role is an asset � Basic knowledge of computer and typing keyboard skills.

� Able to be self directed and multitask � Good communication skills and respect for teamwork Start Date:
