We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to provide administrative support to our healthcare team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators, including processing new referrals, orders, and patient records.
- Enter, update, and maintain patient data in our electronic database.
- Answer telephone inquiries from patients, families, and service providers, and refer callers as appropriate.
- Provide backup support to other positions as required.
- A Grade 12 diploma (minimum)
- 2+ years' related office experience
- Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills
- Proficient with database software, MS Word, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends
- A college diploma in the health or social services field, or business/office administration
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office administrative procedures
- Knowledge of services provided by Ontario Health atHome
- Ability to speak French or another second language
