Actuarial Leader for North America Liability and Professional Liability Portfolios

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Leader to join our team in North America, focusing on Liability and Professional Liability portfolios. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing portfolio strategies, working closely with product owners to drive business growth and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities- Product Responsibility: Lead the pricing support for Liability, E&O, D&O, and Transactional Liability products, with a focus on the D&O product.
- Analytical Driven Decision Making: Develop and implement portfolio profitability strategies, reflecting the latest market dynamics, rate, and loss experience.
- Pricing Tool Development: Take ownership of the Pricing framework, ensuring effectiveness and oversight, and lead the development of Swiss Re's market-leading pricing models.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with underwriting leadership to support strategy development and prioritize execution strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of four actuarial professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
We are a team of actuarial and portfolio management experts, providing support to Corporate Solutions liability businesses worldwide. We work closely with our business partners to offer data-driven portfolio steering support, encouraging team members to take ownership of their portfolios and become product experts.
About You- Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience, including significant time spent pricing general and/or professional liability products.
- ACAS/FCAS designation required.
- D&O pricing experience preferred.
- Critical skills: self-motivation, ability to drive team performance, strong organizational skills, curiosity to understand data insights, and strong communication skills.
Preferred locations are Kansas City, MO or Windsor, CT. Other arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
