Magna Exteriors is a leading provider of automotive exterior systems, and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customs and Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing traffic and customs requirements, coordinating inbound shipments, and preparing necessary documentation for Co-Ex-Tec customers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee traffic and customs requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate inbound shipments, including arranging expedite shipments and negotiating transportation rates with carriers and customs brokers
  • Prepare USMCA Certificates of Origin, AALA certificates, Cafe Content Breakdown reports, and Manufacturer's Affidavits for Co-Ex-Tec customers
  • Process refunds, amends, duty drawbacks, file rulings and remission applications
  • Perform other duties as required by management
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent; Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma, preferred
  • Knowledge of freight/transportation, customs rules/classifications; Customs Brokers Certificate, preferable
  • Familiar with freight/transportation business; USMCA agreement and impact on automotive industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Well-developed communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities
  • Sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use
  • Professional in dealing with internal/external customers
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset
