Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the manager, primary health, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to children with speech language disorders who have been referred for services. This position is based out of St Pauls Hospital and provides community based services to licensed daycare facilities.

Education

  • Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Memberships

  • Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)

Other Education and Training

  • Hanen training is preferred

Other Information

  • Experience working with children individually and in small groups is an asset
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
  • Previous related experience with children and families is preferred
