Role Overview
The Director, GTB Internal Control plays a crucial role in the success of the Global Transaction Banking Internal Control and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program. This position is instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and AML risk management of the GTB group through various responsibilities:
- Offer expert guidance to GTB business lines on AML compliance and Sanctions
- Lead the development and implementation of AML controls
- Provide expertise in structuring new AML requirements and processes
- Support GTB in onboarding, KYC, and AML/ATF processes
- Lead key initiatives in AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment
Your Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for Non-Financial Risks Management Programs
- Support the Risk & Control Self-Assessment program
- Partner with business lines to ensure proper risk assessment
- Update Key Risk Indicators and participate in Scenario Analysis
- Assist in Enterprise Regulatory Compliance Management
- Review Assessable Units and Assessable Categories as per Global Compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in financial services with a broad skill set
- Master's degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent
- Certifications in AML and agile methodologies are advantageous
- Experience in compliance, operational risk management, and AML
- Familiarity with GTB and wholesale banking products
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
