As a Maintenance Assistant 2 – Wash Bay Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  • Steam cleaning all mobile equipment and tools.
  • Performing minor repairs to equipment.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Maintaining organizational skills regarding inventory on equipment, tools, and its accessories.
  • Complying with work safety policies and safety regulations.
  • Performing all tasks directed by the maintenance crew.

About You:

  • A grade 10 secondary education or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working with/around Heavy Equipment is preferred.
  • Previous mining and/or heavy industrial experience is preferred.

Skills:

  • Good communication with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Concern for Safety, Health, and Environment.
  • Flexibility regarding work activities and type of work requirements.
  • The ability to work in a multi-discipline, multi-tasking, team environment.
