Server Assistant Job Description

Farina A Legna, a renowned Italian restaurant in Lower Lonsdale, is seeking a part-time Server Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless dining experiences, and supporting our service team in delivering flawless hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with guests, greet, and seat them in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Run, clear, and re-set tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Manage reservations, billing, and take payments efficiently.
  • Process take-out orders, handle delivery services, and fulfill server drink and coffee orders.
  • Support the service team in creating memorable guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • A positive, warm attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Friday to Sunday availability required.
  • The ability to multitask with a calm demeanor.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as counter service, café service, bussing, and/or bartending.
  • Serving It Right certification or equivalent.
  • Barista experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Italian food and wine knowledge is an asset, but not required.
