Role overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java developer to join our team. As a Java developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in Java programming, along with your strong problem-solving and analytical skills, will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions.

What you bring to the role
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Hands on experience in Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, Authentication and Authorization etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience in the Spring Framework / Spring Boot
  • Experience in developing web applications using Spring Boot, Microservice and API
  • Experience in Angular 8 Or 10 Or 12
  • Experience in AWS or Azure Cloud
  • Experience in Jenkins Maven
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Experience in building applications in Banking domain (Customer Onboarding, KYC, Authentication)
Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs. .
