The Analyst, FP&A Phosphate is responsible for working closely with key business partners to develop accurate business plans and short-term financial forecasts for the Phosphate business.

This role is located in Saskatoon, SK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing accurate short-term financial forecasts and annual plans for the Phosphate business
  • Translating large amounts of data into meaningful analysis for leadership
  • Supporting Phosphate site finance with forecasting, budgeting, and special projects
  • Maintaining and enhancing short-term forecasting models
  • Developing strong relationships with key business partners
  • Ongoing financial analysis to support the business
  • Developing and maintaining key business partner reports
  • Completing ad-hoc analysis, projects, and initiatives as assigned

Requirements include:

  • A university degree in accounting, finance, marketing, or commerce
  • Professional designation (CPA, CBV, or CFA) or MBA
  • 5-8 years of related and progressive work experience in a business or financial analysis role
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional analytical acumen
  • Background in business partnering
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with Hyperion, Power Query, and Power BI would be an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking, deadline-oriented team environment
  • Curious, proactive, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
  • Flexible to work extended hours to meet timelines
  • Positive attitude and a team spirit
