Job Summary

In this role, you will implement programs to support environmental compliance, process control programs, and health and safety requirements for water and wastewater treatment processes within the Northeastern Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement programs to support environmental compliance, process control programs, and health and safety requirements for water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Monitor and analyze data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate goals.
  • Conduct internal audits and respond to findings, participate in inspections, and make recommendations to assigned facilities.
  • Provide technical compliance advice to internal and external contacts and facilitate in-house training to operations staff.
  • Prepare written technical letters, reports, and procedures, including photos, charts, and graphs.
Requirements
  • Class 3 certification in Water Treatment and Class 3 in Wastewater Treatment.
  • Post-secondary education in an environmental discipline or field knowledge.
  • Valid Class G driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent oral and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of database functions and maintenance programs.
