Key Responsibilities- Pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve timely delivery to customers.
- Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes.
- Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, with no damaged products and freshest product selection.
- Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
- Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offering service, including supporting issues to resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area and operating material handling equipment safely.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, and efficiencies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
