We currently have an exciting co-op placement available for an R&D Verification Intern role focusing on the Ansys Discovery product line. The primary goal of this position is to elevate software quality through model verification, validation, acceptance testing, and other research-based projects. You will collaborate with highly skilled and motivated development and testing teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct testing and validation of new software features during development stages
  • Aid in creating test specifications
  • Develop automated tools and tests
  • Engage in acceptance testing processes
Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Enrolled in a full-time degree program with intentions to return to university post the co-op term
  • Basic exposure to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
  • Proficiency in Python programming
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge or experience with CAD software
  • Familiarity with C# programming
  • Prior experience with Ansys products
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a tenacious mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
This co-op opportunity entails a paid 40-hour per week commitment, commencing in August 2024 and concluding in April 2025.
