We currently have an exciting co-op placement available for an R&D Verification Intern role focusing on the Ansys Discovery product line. The primary goal of this position is to elevate software quality through model verification, validation, acceptance testing, and other research-based projects. You will collaborate with highly skilled and motivated development and testing teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and validation of new software features during development stages
- Aid in creating test specifications
- Develop automated tools and tests
- Engage in acceptance testing processes
- Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Enrolled in a full-time degree program with intentions to return to university post the co-op term
- Basic exposure to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Knowledge or experience with CAD software
- Familiarity with C# programming
- Prior experience with Ansys products
