Job Description

GIRO is looking for several software development interns for the summer 2024 session. As an intern at GIRO, you will be an integral part of a development team, collaborating with software experts with rich expertise in public transit and postal services. In addition to learning how to work in an agile environment, a software development internship at GIRO involves:

Participating in the design and development stages of large-scale software products: functional design, architecture, detailed design, and programming. Developing new features in applications. Implementing and testing software functionalities. Managing and resolving bugs (OBS).

Your internship will also include:

Providing technical support to development and project teams using the features developed by your team. Writing detailed design documents.

Qualifications

Your profile:

You have completed at least two years of a bachelor's degree in a relevant or related field (computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics, etc.). You enjoy and are proficient in web programming or object-oriented programming. You like working in a team and being in a collaborative environment. You communicate in French, both spoken and written, like a pro.
