Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Reitmans (Canada) Ltd. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Ensure the store is achieving company objectives and KPI goals, including sales and profit targets.
- Team Leadership: Provide store leadership by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Talent Development: Help recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who are sales, customer, and fashion-focused.
- Merchandise Strategies: Implement merchandise strategies while providing a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop.
- Communication: Maintain an effective and open line of communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.
- Leadership Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer experience-based environment.
- Sales Performance: Proven ability to lead teams to success through strong sales performance.
- Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent. Post-secondary education is an asset.
- Availability: Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while being committed to creating an amazing customer experience. Availability to work weekends and evenings is required.
