Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process all purchase transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Product Promotion: Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives, to customers.
  • Assisting Customers: Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise, ensuring their shopping experience is convenient and hassle-free.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and ensuring a safe working space for all employees.
  • Security and Integrity: Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to company policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous retail experience an asset.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service or sales, knowledge of retail operations and procedures.
