The Foot Care Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of foot care services to clients in the community and facility setting, adhering to legislation and standards of practice.

  • Conduct thorough foot assessments and provide effective foot care treatment
  • Manage electronic scheduling and documentation with precision
  • Adhere to safe work and risk management policies and procedures
  • Continuously assess and respond to the evolving needs of clients, communicating available resources when necessary
Qualifications
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
  • Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care certificate required
  • Prior experience in foot care is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
  • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset
