Job Description Summary

Support Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) in a fast-paced team environment, conducting industrial hygiene monitoring, sound level measurements, and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Industrial Hygiene (IH) Program support, including site monitoring and equipment management
  • Conduct sound level monitoring and noise dosimetry studies
  • Qualitative respiratory fit testing and Physical Demand Analysis
  • EHS Training Program development and delivery
  • Safety Data Sheet management and New Substance Notification Regulation tracking
  • Maintenance of EHS systems, including Intelex and Enhesa

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental, Health and Safety
  • Novice to 3 years of experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience considered

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a team environment, model positive team principles, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace
  • High integrity for dealing with confidential information and demonstrated professionalism

Working Conditions:

  • Light physical effort and fatigue, occasional equipment operation, and use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes, or odours, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights
