The Meadows is a Long Term Care Facility undergoing transformation to create empowered neighborhood teams focused on resident-centered care. As a Part-Time RN Supervisor, you will serve residents by attending to their medical needs and ensuring their physical, spiritual, and social needs are met. You will provide clinical and leadership guidance to neighborhood care teams and be responsible for incident investigations. This position requires flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, and may require wearing a mask during shifts in the event of an outbreak.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Attend to residents' medical needs and ensure their physical, spiritual, and social needs are met
- Provide clinical and leadership guidance to neighborhood care teams
- Lead incident investigations
- Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- May be required to wear a mask during shifts in the event of an outbreak
**Requirements:**
- Demonstrated willingness and passion to engage with residents and their families
- Compassionate, caring, and respectful attitude with a strong customer service mindset
- Registered Nurse fully licensed to practice in the Province of Nova Scotia
- Well-organized and able to initiate workload, work independently, and take on additional projects
- Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise others
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience working with the elderly and associated gerontological conditions
- Previous experience in nursing, management, supervision, and leadership
- P.I.E.C.E.S, Management/Supervisory Training Courses, GPA, Mental Health First Aid
