What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Vice President, Operational Excellence within HR Talent Services, the Director, Workforce Engagement & Enablement is a unique role that mixes people management, transformational change, strategy enablement, marketing, and operational readiness.
What will you do?
- Lead and oversee strategic development, planning and execution for large, complex transformational changes and strategic initiatives aligned with HR's strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across HR and cross-functional teams to align transformation efforts with change goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the HR Project Management Office, Corporate Communications, Workplace Brand, HR Digital Solutions, and COE partners, providing advisory support and coaching around change strategies, as needed.
- Steward HR digital approach, acting on opportunities to increase workforce adoption and improve sentiment around HR digital tools and resources (Workday, HR Employee Centre, myHR, HR digital Hub).
- Drive planning, design and execution support related to accelerating work and future growth across HR Talent Services, including management of engagement activities (R&R, leadership forums, town halls, internal communication channels).
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and innovation – with focus on delivering beyond the minimum requirements, challenging convention, and pushing themselves and others outside of their comfort zone.
- Contribute to the success of the HR Operational Excellence overarching vision and objectives.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 8+ years of Transformational Change experience working in professional services / consulting experience with a reputable firm.
- Proven track record of successfully driving complex organizational transformations and implementing large scale, complex technology adoption programs.
- Advanced understanding of change management processes and proven application of change principles and methodologies (e.g., RBC Triple A model, Prosci, Kotter).
- Able to embrace constraints – can create opportunities to make things happen.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Are outcome-oriented, strategic thinkers who brings a bold and creative approach and focus on delivering business value.
- Experience managing and leading teams, with demonstrated people management skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Nice-to-have
- Previous experience working in Human Resources
- Change Management designation
