Solution Delivery Manager

As a Solution Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects and initiatives that support the Sales & Logistics business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions to business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business partners, providing operational leadership and support to the IT Sales & Logistics Support Team
- Develop a deep understanding of Sales & Logistics business processes and the technology that supports them
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements documentation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs for resolution and development
- Own and address business incidents from identification through resolution
- Identify opportunities for improvement within business processes and technology solutions related to the Sales & Logistics domain
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to support Sales & Logistics applications
- Understand and advocate for enterprise strategies
- Collaborate with other teams to assess downstream impacts to business stakeholders
- Serve as a project manager or technical lead to ensure business value is provided in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Champion continuous improvement within the IT Team
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their potential use for meeting business needs
- Maintain technical knowledge of existing application roadmaps
- Mentor others on the team
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized university with a degree in computer science, engineering, business, or other relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in supporting ERP applications solution design and development
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with supporting Order-to-Cash and Logistics related applications
- Experience with SAP SD, MM, TM, PM, SAP IBP, and other related solutions is an asset
- Able to travel
- Adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships and collaborating and communicating effectively in a business environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with decentralized and remote teams
- Experience working with and leading off-shore teams is a strong preference
- Superior time management skills, able to support multiple project initiatives simultaneously
- Proficient in translating business problems into detailed requirements and technical specifications
- Adept at developing business cases, requirement documentation, and test plans to support system activity
- History of serving as Technical Lead and/or Project Manager on project initiatives
- Demonstrates history of continuous training and learning in technology, leadership, and communication
- Experience applying the processes of the Software Development Life Cycle
