Company Overview: Company 3 / Method Studios provides a full range of Creative Services for content creators, including conceptual design, pre-vis, look development, ideation and rapid prototyping, 3D animation/CGI, motion graphics/designers, matte painting, compositing, dailies and production services, color grading, post-production finishing, marketing/trailers, live-action production, experiences, and more. Job Responsibilities:
  • Colour Support: Assist colourists with colour tracing, vfx inserts, lut application, and other tasks, knowledgeable of various colour spaces (P3DCI, P3D65, XYZ...)
  • Support Editors: Help finishing editors with locating and consolidating media, renders, including master deliverables, and qc fixes
  • Teamwork: Collaborate and communicate with colleagues to obtain job instructions and solutions to meet project deadlines, document workflows, and help train new hires
  • Resource Support: Operate DaVinci Resolve, Sony X300, Barco 4K/2K, and video routers
  • Quality Assurance: Detail-oriented with application and equipment settings, thoroughly check all work for errors before content is distributed downstream
  • New Technology Support: Help support new processes and maintain proficiency with evolving technical applications and trends with the company workflow
  • Quality Control: Maintain outstanding levels of oversight of deliverables manufactured within the finishing process
  • Customer Service: Drive client-supervised sessions, screenings, visual effects reviews, and colour-correction sessions/editorial reviews as directed by colourist/editor and/or production management
Requirements:
  • Prior working experience in the media/post-production industry
  • Prior hands-on operator experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a great team player
  • Working knowledge of Davinci Resolve, prior experience in finishing, professional level English language skill, and solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work overtime with little or no notice, work on weekends, and work variable shifts
