We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Universal Truck and Trailer. In this permanent position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet. Key Responsibilities

  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Discuss findings with supervisors to determine whether to repair or replace units.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and road test motor vehicles.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Requirements

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a related field

  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification
