We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a Reception Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will play a critical role in providing an exceptional experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Directing Customers: Greet prospective customers and determine the nature of their visit. Direct customers to the correct department or personnel, notify the appropriate Product/Service Advisor that a customer is waiting, or introduce the customers to the advisor.
- Answering Customer Inquiries: Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Handling Telephone Calls: Handle telephone calls in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the time they are put on hold.
- Performing Administrative Duties: Perform clerical duties and accounting duties as assigned by Management.
- Managing Customer Traffic: Manage the customer traffic control system.
- Receiving and Processing Payments: Receive and process payments.
- Assisting with Sales Documentation: Process sales documentation, and works effectively with the sales team to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Remitting Mail: Remit mail received at the reception desk promptly.
- Completing Warranty Books: Complete warranty books for all sold vehicles.
- Maintaining the Customer Lounge: Keep customer lounge area presentable and tidy, including stocking coffee area.
- Following Safety Policies: Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to be versatile in working with changing priorities of position responsibilities, and ability to multitask.
- Professional Appearance: Professional personal appearance.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills over the phone and in person.
- Organizational Skills: Organized and detail-oriented.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrated computer skills - MS Word and Excel.
