Senior Technology Specialist, Digital Developer, a high-profile role that requires expertise in software development, technical leadership, and infrastructure as code.
**Job Description**
We're seeking a skilled Senior Technology Specialist, Digital Developer to join our agile team in Waterloo, ON. As a key member of our Individual Insurance department, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that optimize the servicing experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Design, develop, and unit test code to meet business objectives
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure understanding of objectives, requirements, and specifications
• Develop expertise in React, Angular, .NET, C#, and related tools and frameworks
• Provide technical leadership to junior team members and oversee solution implementation
• Support the implementation of corporate policies, standards, and procedures
• Troubleshoot hardware and/or application software
• Participate in planning and executing tasks and involve others in the process
**Requirements**
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT with multi-domain experience
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in computer science, computer systems engineering, or software engineering
• Hands-on working knowledge of React, Next.js, NET, C#, PWAs, APIs, Azure DevOps/Cloud, SQL, and Design Library Systems
• Experience with agile practices, scrum delivery, test automation, and Azure Pipelines
• Strong experience in infrastructure as code, DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud security best practices, and well-architected framework
• Demonstrated knowledge of web/mobile design and object-oriented programming practices
