About the Role:

  • Lead and support care, nursing, dietary, maintenance, and housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing and care staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized school of nursing and currently registered Nurse (RN or RPN) with BCCNM.
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience in the Continuing Care Sector, with a focus on dementia care and end-of-life care.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to excellence in care, with a focus on resident-centered care and person-centered care.
