Lead a dedicated on-site team to deliver exceptional resident experiences, overseeing operational and business functions of a residential building.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote a strong sense of community by enhancing the resident experience and promoting the company brand.
  • Handle inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns from residents and follow up accordingly.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with a focus on high-level resident service.
  • Issue building-wide notices and resident communications.
  • Perform regular inspections and make recommendations as required.
  • Purchase supplies and coordinate services for the property.
  • Coordinate work orders and work closely with the maintenance team.
  • Coordinate resident move-in and move-out processes.
  • Conduct move-in inspections and property orientations.
  • Organize resident events to increase resident experience.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise front desk and site staff.
  • Manage and direct concierge staff.
  • Complete bi-weekly staffing schedules and approve vacation absences.
  • Ensure accurate payroll system entries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and attend resident tenant association meetings.
  • Assist the building maintenance team with emergencies.
  • Issue purchase orders and arrange scheduling for contractors.
  • Develop action plans and inspire/motivate a team to meet and exceed goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in residential rental environments.
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act is an asset.
  • Certificate of property management is an asset.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience with managing front-line staff is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Yardi.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Clearance of police record check.
Working Conditions:
  • Considerable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
  • Requires working during holidays, weekends, day, and evening shifts.
  • Work week is Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Hours may vary from time to time under certain circumstances.
