The Corporate Communications team leads Intact Financial Corporation's Internal and External Communications in support of IFC's business objectives and strategic roadmap. This includes:

The Senior Communications Advisor for Human Resources (HR) is responsible for relationship management and strategic communications planning with IFC's HR partners. The Senior Communications Advisor will work closely with assigned HR partners to build proactive and integrated communications plans to support IFC's business objectives and HR's strategic plans. This includes developing strategic communications plans and content, executional excellence, with a consistent focus on IFC's Employee Promise and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with HR partners to understand their business needs, collaborate, effectively plan, develop and execute strategies and tactics that support HR's strategic priorities. HR Partners include:

- Collaborate with Communications partners across the business to connect the dots and leverage best practices.
- Build and execute yearly strategic communications plans with each business partner with regular touchpoints during the year to review plans and progress.
- Create effective, consistent communications appropriate for the intended audiences and channels. This includes developing strategic plans, communications objectives, key messages and Q&As for specific projects or initiatives to create engaging communications.
- Strategies should consider multimedia options, and other innovative and creative ways to tell stories and achieve objectives across internal platforms and channels including intranet articles, presentations, SharePoint sites, and newsletters.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, business units and other stakeholders to gather inputs and effectively manage projects.
- Set clear outcomes, KPIs and other success metrics for all projects. Provide recommendations based on findings and learnings.
- Manage internal communications platforms, including the HR Hub. This includes collaborating with HR partners and IT, developing and maintaining best practices, and measuring communication effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars working with business partners across the business.

- Is a trusted advisor that builds and develops strong relationships with HR partners and leaders and other colleagues across Corporate Communications and IFC.
- Implements effective processes and best practices in all projects.

What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in communications/mass media/editing, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- At least 7 years of experience.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Ability to create alignment among multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and expectations simultaneously.
- Highly organized and able to manage workflow efficiently with autonomy and flexibility and without continuous supervision.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Regular travel throughout the year within Canada to support events on-site. Limited travel internationally is required such as for major flagship events.
- Fluency with certain graphic or video production/editing tools (such as Photoshop or Canvas) an asset.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
