Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of complex electronic circuits to the component level
  • Provide failure analysis and/or root cause analysis of defects and/or field returns
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
  • Build & test the latest film & television equipment that incorporates the most advanced components available to the industry
  • Function as a member of the production team
  • Any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 2 year Electrical Technician or 3 year Electrical Technology Co-op program.
  • Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is required.
  • Problem-solving ability and able to react to changing situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Be results oriented
  • Be self-motivated
