Job Description
Manage the operational performance (logistics and quality) of suppliers for Forging & Raw Material commodity

  • Ensure the monitoring of suppliers and their approvals
  • Support the development of suppliers (Supplier Development)
Complementary Description
Participate in the evaluation of suppliers during the selection process

  • Evaluate the level of supplier risk, define and deploy the associated monitoring plans, including to support the rampup / down phases and the introduction of new products / dual source implementation
  • Analyze the logistics and quality performance of suppliers and quantifies the quality (NQC) and logistics (LD) compensation (scorecard) based on the measurements carried out by the supplier and SQF (Supplier Quality Flow)
  • Lead the escalation process; in case of escalation to the red / black level, support SQF for activities D4 to D8 of the 8D
  • Manage and develop the quality standard
  • Manage supplier approvals, ensure that quality requirements are taken into account by suppliers & internal SLS Teams
  • Support supplier maturity upgrading plans and promote best practices (MRPII, QRQC, 8D, FMEAs, SPC, etc.);
- support suppliers in the implementation of progress plans in line with SLS objectives and customer requirements

  • Set up supplier inspection/quality delegations (DPRV)
Job Requirements
Knowledge

  • Supplychain principles and tools, including audits, leansigma
  • Principles and tools of quality including audits (Product/process audit)
  • Load/Capacity Assessement, Line of Balance analysis, Recovery Plan management
  • Safran requirements & documentary system including quality standards is a plus
Skills

  • Crossfunctional project management, multidisciplinay Team work (CFT,MFT)
  • Negotiation and contracts (Logitics agreement)
Change management

  • Good level of written and oral English
  • Speaking french is a plus
  • Master intercultural relationship
Qualities

  • Communication and listening, sense of the field, pragmatic
  • Rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis
  • Power of persuasion
  • Ability to communicate and represent the company externally
  • Ability to communicate to senior management (internal and external)
