The School of Health & Human Services is looking for Dental Hygiene instructors.

The following is required for successful employment at Camosun College:

• A commitment to sustainable practices within our environment and society Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
  • Successful post-secondary teaching experience (both clinical and didactic) in an accredited dental hygiene diploma program
  • Five years of clinical experience in dental hygiene
  • Current licensure with BCCOHP as a Dental Hygiene Practitioner; and current CDHA/BCDHA membership, NDHCB Certification and Current CPR (BLS) or equivalent.
  • Completion or enrollment in the Provincial Instructor's Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability and desire to integrate Indigenous perspectives into curriculum and teaching practices
  • Interprofessional practice experience
  • Experience as an independent dental hygiene practitioner and/or alternate practice setting experience
  • Experience with professional service, including leadership roles undertaken with dental hygiene organizations.
  • Ability and desire to acknowledge, understand and embrace the diversity within our community and treat others in a spirit of dignity, respect, compassion, honesty, openness and inclusiveness
  • Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours
