About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our Stobie Open Pit Mine team in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a permanent on-site position working shift and supporting a 24 hour, 7 days a week, operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul, service, and maintain underground mobile mining equipment.
  • Contribute to scheduled or emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance work to be done in the shop or field.
Requirements
  • Fully Licensed Journeyperson with Trade Certification in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A), Automotive Service Technician (310S), Truck and Coach Technician (310T), or Agricultural Equipment Technician (425A).
  • Experience with 24 VDC wiring/control systems, maintenance of hydraulic systems on mobile equipment, and braking systems "ABA" on large mobile equipment.
