Job Description

As a TCP/Hoist Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring public safety and traffic control on construction sites, operating personnel hoists, and performing various labor tasks.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team, with a valid hoist operator and TCP ticket, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure public safety and traffic control on construction sites
  • Operate personnel hoists and perform inspections and safety checks
  • Perform various labor tasks, including cleaning, shoveling, and material loading
  • Assist trades with loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • Coordinate and communicate hoist movements via radio
  • Perform other site duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Valid hoist operator and TCP ticket
  • Customer-facing experience is considered an asset
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Construction experience of 1 year or more is an asset
  • Physical ability to meet job demands, including working on feet for 8 hours or more, lifting objects weighing up to 55lbs, and carrying out physical tasks over extended periods
