Your future responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable software applications using various technologies.
  • Working on both client-side and server-side development tasks.
  • Leveraging messaging technologies for effective communication within the system.
  • Packaging and deploying applications using containerization technologies.
  • Implementing efficient web containers to manage user requests.
  • Creating and maintaining automated tests to guarantee code quality and functionality.

Requirements for success in this role:

Key Skills:

Minimum years of experience: 6-9 Yrs (Intermediate) or 10+ Yrs (Senior level)

  • Proficiency in middleware Java stack, messaging technologies, containerization, web containers, and test automation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coding across multiple programming languages including Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with core data science libraries. Understanding of various package managers and test frameworks.
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools such as GIT, Cloudbees Jenkins, uDeploy, and/or Pivotal Concourse.
  • Knowledge of python web frameworks like Flask, Django is beneficial.
  • Understanding of formal language design concepts such as type systems is a positive.
  • Familiarity with quant research processes, methodologies, and tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with Financial Data is a plus.
