Job Summary
Magnum Services seeks a Downhole Tool Hand to assist in day-to-day operations, supervise tool assembly, and prepare and deploy downhole tool product lines in the field.

Job Description
Founded in 2008, Magnum Services is a well-established well cementing service company with a broad operational footprint in North America. We provide primary and remedial oilfield cementing services, downhole isolation technologies, soil stabilization, and fluid services. Our team is responsible for developing and diversifying our services to offer customers a unique blend of technical expertise and project execution excellence.

Reporting to the Station Manager, the Downhole Tool Hand is a safety-sensitive position responsible for:

• Preparing and deploying Magnum's downhole tool product lines in the field
• Managing and mentoring personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at location
• Ensuring efficient handling of day-to-day operations and supervising tool assembly
• Managing the deployment of downhole components and associated tallies
• Preparing tool manuals for field delivery
• Conducting pre-job preparation, including bin spotting, rigging in on location, calculations, and job timing communication
• Communicating effectively with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth field delivery
• Participating in training and information sessions on Magnum's Isolation Technologies service line
• Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to On Site Representatives
• Developing and maintaining strong external and internal client relationships
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting customer issues
• Assisting with inventory management
• Supporting field sales as required
• Implementing and maintaining procedures to ensure high levels of service
• Adhering to and enforcing company Safety policies and ensuring compliance with HSE legislation
• Directly supporting management in ongoing field initiatives and improving policy and procedures
• Creating and updating field procedures for the Field Operations team
• Learning about new technologies and applications applicable to Magnum
• Gathering pertinent product information and maintaining an archive accessible by Sales and Operations personnel
• Assisting the Quality Assurance/Quality Control department in accordance with Magnum's guidelines

Qualifications
• Existing hands-on experience with completions and downhole tools equipment
• Working knowledge and familiarity with tubing, drill pipe, and casing threads, and materials and mechanical properties
• Technical knowledge of downhole hydraulics, tubing movement (force analysis), metallurgy, and elastomer selection processes
• Ability to work on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times
• Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg, bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to be on-call, work overtime, and travel
• Ability to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration
• Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with production and completion systems, as well as liner installations
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work with little direction
• Strong multi-tasking ability, often handling time-sensitive scheduling issues
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to consult operationally with both customers and personnel
• Excellent customer service and spoken and written communication skills
• Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and other software, as required
