This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and involves the accurate and timely receipt, preparation, and delivery of prescriptions. It includes maintaining sufficient inventory levels to meet patient needs, providing counseling with proper documentation, and engaging positively with all customers, internally and externally, while also enhancing customer awareness and understanding through public outreach.

  • What you'll be doing:
  • Prepare, dispense, and manage medications for patients efficiently
  • Ensure adequate inventory of medications and supplements for patient requirements
  • Counsel patients on new medications in a friendly and proactive manner
  • Raise awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives
  • Provide timely solutions to patient and doctor requests
  • Monitor and control costs within the pharmacy
  • Deliver continuous training to pharmacy colleagues

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license are mandatory
  • Exceptional customer relations skills and a professional attitude
  • Strong leadership and performance management abilities
  • Proven track record in business development using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problems solving skills
  • Proficiency in personal computing and familiarity with Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system
