Seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to support marketing, social media, brand strategy, and visual identity for Yabu Pushelberg's Interiors and Product areas of business.

Salary: $70,000 annually

**Job Description:**

  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
  • Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions
  • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
  • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
  • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
  • Copywrite
  • Process files and paperwork

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years experience in Marketing, Social Media Management, Graphic Design and Brand Strategy within the Design sector
  • 1.5 years of experience within the Hospitality Interior design space
  • 3 years experience in graphic design, branding, and visual identity as well as social media strategy and visual content creation
  • 2 years experience in website design, development and management, editorial design / publication and copywriting
  • Intermediate knowledge of photography techniques

**Education:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design

**Soft Skills:**

  • Confidence in handling client-facing experiences
  • Process-focused, capable of auditing existing processes and advising on new ways of working
  • Well-organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
  • Able to independently execute a project through all phases
  • Able to handle diverse portfolios
  • Able to execute strategic and creative thinking

**Language Proficiency:**

  • English

**Software:**

  • Expert level of knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Figma, Figjam and Procreate
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Miro
