About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Illustrator and Graphic Designer to join our team at Yabu Pushelberg. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and effective designs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce high-quality illustrations and designs for various projects
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
  • Estimate time and resources required for design projects
  • Assist in developing storyboards and concept designs for multimedia and digital productions
  • Consult with clients to determine the best design approach for their communications needs
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
  • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment and coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
  • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
  • Copywrite and process files and paperwork
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in illustration and graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles and color theory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
