We are an upscale casual restaurant that focuses on the Italian influenced fair in our 1906 heritage building and speakeasy live music venue the 2nd Floor Gastown. We have an extensive wine and cocktail program to compliment every dining experience for our guests. We strive to deliver luxury service for our guests from the moment they arrive, to the end of their meal, we want their time with us to be memorable.

The Role:
We are looking for cooks to join our energetic and dynamic team.

Our ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for culinary expression, attention to detail, hospitality, true guest connection, and strong knowledge of culinary technique.


What You'll do:

  • Food preparation, food service and cleaning procedures for the section assigned to them.
  • Maintenance and cleaning respective sections
  • Quality of food presentation and taste up to company standard
  • All the food items prepared and served according to health code standards and practices
  • Suggests ideas for improvements in raw material, menus, cost savings and equipment
  • Have full knowledge of all menus and promotions
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage and maintain a clean kitchenOur Ideal Candidate:

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong skill set is essential for all candidates.
  • 2-3 years kitchen/restaurant experience
  • Demonstrates honesty, openness, and kindness
  • Friendly and outgoing energy, approachable and charismatic
  • Self-motivated learner, goal orientated
  • Strong organization skill, able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Set an example for a respectful, collaborative team while demonstrating appropriate workingbehaviors
  • Problem solving abilities and efficient conflict resolution
