Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising the activities of production staff, scheduling staff, and ensuring that production levels meet productivity targets.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising production staff and ensuring that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties
- Scheduling staff and ensuring that production levels meet productivity targets
- Conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback to staff
- Identifying and addressing any issues that may impact production levels or staff performance
- Ensuring that all required legislation is met, including OHSA and WHMIS
- Performing workplace inspections and identifying any hazards or risks
- Investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Ensuring that all staff are trained in standardized work and that they are competent to perform their duties
- Allocating manpower and ensuring that production levels meet customer requirements
- Reviewing production schedules and ensuring that daily customer requirements are met
- Reviewing shift productivity and ensuring that standards are achieved
- Suggesting changes and improvements to working conditions and equipment
- Entering production results into the system and reviewing hours in the T&A System
- Preparing and approving weekly summaries of hours worked for employees and delivering to HR for payroll processing
