We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Westlake. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Monitor and control production assets, including equipment, employees, and raw materials, to continuously improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Review and recommend changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to optimize production processes.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with Quality Control policies and procedures, and report any product damage or nonconformities to the Plant Manager or Production Superintendent.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of hourly employees, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with administrative, plant, and supervisory staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Experience: Three to five years of related supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Self-motivated individual with well-developed organizational, time management, and analytical skills, proficient in MS Office.
- Availability: Ability to work a 12-hour continental shift, including days and nights.
