Full Time Van Route Light Duty Cleaner Job Description
Evening Light Duty cleaner needed for Monday to Friday with an approximate start time after 4:30 but no later than 6:00pm. You must provide your own transportation to and from the office, but will be provided with a work vehicle during working hours.
Start Rate with Drivers License $17.00 going to $17.50 after 3 months.
Each night you are done at a different time as there is a set schedule for each day. Hours per night are between 3.5 to 4.5 hours depending on the schedule of the day. You work with a partner nightly and your shift will start and end at the Guelph office. We are seeking serious, long term minded employees to join our growing team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. The tasks and the time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. ServiceMaster Clean maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.
  • General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
  • Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
  • Emptying garbage and recycling
  • Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
  • Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
  • Sanitizing touchpoints
  • Additional tasks as requested
  • Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
  • Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
  • Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Communicate in English both written and verbally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Be able to work consistent weekend shifts
  • A vehicle to commute to work locations
  • Have a criminal record check
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial
WORKING CONDITIONS
There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.
