Seeking experienced Area Account Manager to manage and expand customer base across Eastern Ontario, focusing on industrial and contractor markets.

Daltco Electric is a leading independent distributor of electrical automation and lighting solutions in Eastern Ontario. With over 40 years of experience, we have established a strong presence in the region, serving industrial, residential, and commercial markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Providing expert advice on electrical, automation, and lighting products
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and exceptional customer service
  • Achieving sales targets by developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education, electrical background or post-secondary education in a related Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist program
  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the electrical, automation, or lighting industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel within the assigned area
