About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Services Representative to join our team at Intact. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify financial transactions, including deposits and payments, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare, compile, and distribute invoices, statements, reports, and checks in a timely and organized manner.
  • Conduct research to analyze accounts and resolve issues related to accounts, collections, or other financial matters.
  • Respond effectively to various inquiries from clients, brokers, and other company services.
  • Verify and enter banking information, review new accounts, modify payment schedules, and process refunds for premiums billed by the company.
  • Resolve issues related to payments made, billing agreements, payment methods, and discrepancies between accounts.
What You'll Bring
  • AEC in accounting (asset) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and efficiency in a high-volume work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including data entry skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) - regular interaction with colleagues across the country.
